For those who have not heard (this is very old news), Sci-Fi is planning to cancel the 11th season of Stargate SG-1 though they still plan to air Stargate Atlantis and finish the SG-1 storyline via TV-movies.

What are they thinking? Well, it is Sci-Fi and not MGM that wants to cancel the show, even though SG-1 is their second largest franchise. They say the ratings dropped, but we need to get it through their heads that we want our show!

They want Stargate Atlantis to take SG-1’s place. I do not have a problem with Atlantis. While Atlantis is cool, it does not have that down-to-earth (no pun intended) feel that SG-1 has. In Atlantis, it feels too futuristic like that SG-1 episode 2010.

Hopefully we can still get it through the thick heads of those corporate leaders. In the meantime, keep watching, keep fighting, and keep the gate open.

Yea, I wish…

Well, December is already here. 2006 will soon be gone forever more… Sadly, where I live, the climate is “Mediterranean” which means we do not get snow. All we have is cold, wind, dust, and gray rain, and then the fields will gradually change from yellow to brown to green. Well, it does have its perks at times…

Anyway, we cannot slow down time. If we could, we would have probably done it by now so we can cram more into our rushed workdays.

Here’s what’s coming up. Like I said before, I am making a custom theme which has gone under the moniker Inspire (which I have decided will be the final name of this theme set). I am almost finished with the the theme’s design. I have mentioned that this theme will not be one theme and that is true. It is a set of five themes, one per season and one more for other purposes. I still have to add a few more things to the winter Inspire theme but I can almost promise a preview in the next few days.

December desktop and more wallpapers are coming up soon as well.
